Welcome to the AALNC - Orange County Chapter!

 

AALNC-OC members are a group of very dedicated and energetic registered nurses who have taken their experiences, talents and skills into the legal arena. We are a diverse group of professionals, working in a variety of settings including healthcare facilities, insurance companies, in-house law firms and in private practices. Orange County members possess the passion to bring their knowledge and expertise into the legal arena as advocates for the patient/client and for our nursing profession.

As a member of AALNC-OC you will be integrated with a progressive group of professionals who share these objectives:

• To unite legal nurse consultants (LNC), provide education and promote their professional growth

• To educate the legal professions and the public about various roles of the LNC

• To recruit, support and mentor persons interested in legal nurse consulting

 

- Our History -

 

AALNC-OC was organized in 1989 by a group of highly motivated, dedicated and concerned registered nurses who affirmed the need for such an organization.

Our Founders were Claudette Varanko and Agnes Grogan. Their vision and tireless efforts have ensured the ongoing success of the Orange County Chapter.

Over the years, the Orange County Chapter members have contributed to the field of legal nurse consulting by authoring chapters, launching formal LNC programs, teaching, speaking on the national level and working on hundreds of plaintiffs and defense cases.

Orange County Chapter is one of numerous local chapters, which make up the national organization of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. AALNC-OC continues to strive for excellence in education, guidance and mentorship for all.
